I have been in dentistry for over 11 years and truly love what I do. I began my career in private practice, where I built meaningful relationships with my patients and developed a strong foundation in clinical care. Over time, I felt called to bring dental hygiene services directly to individuals who may not have easy access to traditional dental offices.

Prophylaxis

Scaling and Root Planing
Scaling and root planing is a deeper cleaning used to treat gum disease. It removes hardened buildup and bacteria from under the gums where a regular cleaning can’t reach. The roots of the teeth are gently smoothed to help the gums heal and tighten back around the teeth. This treatment helps reduce bleeding, swelling, and infection, and protects your teeth from further damage.
Periodontal Maintenance
Periodontal maintenance is a special cleaning for patients who have had gum disease in the past. It is done regularly to keep the infection from coming back. During these visits, bacteria and buildup are carefully removed from under the gums, and your gum health is closely monitored.
Fluoride Varnish
Fluoride varnish is a protective coating applied to the teeth to strengthen enamel and help prevent cavities. It is quick, comfortable, and adds extra protection against decay.
Silver Diamide Fluoride
Silver diamine fluoride is a liquid applied to teeth to help stop active cavities from getting worse. It works by killing bacteria and strengthening the tooth, helping slow or stop decay without drilling. Unlike fluoride varnish, which is used to prevent cavities, SDF is used to treat existing decay.
Arestin
Arestin is a targeted antibiotic treatment placed directly into gum pockets to fight bacteria that cause gum disease. It works alongside deep cleanings like scaling and root planing to reduce infection, swelling, and pocket depth. Staying in the pocket for several days, Arestin provides focused treatment where it’s needed to help your gums heal and stay healthy.
